Romir is one of the largest independent Russian research holdings, operating its own elaborate research network, which comprises about 30 branches and joint ventures located in key regions of Russia and the CIS countries.

Romir carries out research projects in three main areas: Ad-hoc research, Scan Panel research (based on data collected from real Russian households) and Mystery Shopping research.

In Romir Ad-hoc, we conduct Qualitative (FGD, in-depth etc.) and Quantitative studies (F2F, CATI (we operate our own CATI studio with 180 work stations), online research etc.); we also offer different innovative methods such as eye-tracking, ethnography, testing laboratory, neuromarketing etc.

Romir's unique panel, called Romir Scan Panel, comprises more than 10 000 individual consumers. The Scan Panel is based on a bar code scanning technology where each household within the panel is connected to the Internet. This technology allows us to receive verified data online and to deliver them promptly, after a quick control and processing procedure, to our clients in a convenient format.
The gathered data are divided into three main parts:
- Shopper/consumer profile (including media preferences)
- Everything about purchased products themselves (SKU
level)
- Place of purchase (trade channels and exact retail
chains).
